Mr. Barry is a native Floridian, born in Tampa, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Ave Maria University in 2008 and his Master of Arts degree in Philosophy, magna cum laude, from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2010. Mr. Barry received his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law in 2013. While in law school, Mr. Barry was an editor of the Nova Law Review. Mr. Barry was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2013.
Mr. Barry is board certified as an expert in elder law by the Florida Bar. His practice areas are elder law, guardianship, estate planning and trust and estate administration. Mr. Barry is a member of the Guardianship Committee of the Florida Bar’s Elder Law Section; the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar; and the Sarasota County Bar Association.
Outside of the office, Mr. Barry enjoys music, gardening, swimming and walking nature trails.
