John A. Moran

Mr. Moran was born in Ft. Wolters, Texas. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Southern College and practiced as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) before entering Law School.
Mr. Moran obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree from Stetson University College of Law and his L.L.M. in Taxation at the University of Florida College of Law.
Mr. Moran is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Moran is also a member of The Florida Bar and is a member of the Tax, Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections of The Florida Bar.
In addition, he is a member of the Sarasota County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants (AAA-CPA). He is a past president of the Southwest Florida Estate Planning Council and is currently a member of the Professional Fiduciary Council of Florida.
Mr. Moran previously served as the initial local Co-Chair of the Dick Vitale Gala Committee for the V Foundation. He has also served on other Not-for-Profit Advisory Boards and Committees.
Mr. Moran resides in Sarasota, Florida with his wife, Barbara and their children.
