
Joseph A. Ciamprone

Prior to joining Dunlap & Moran, Joseph gained valuable experience as a Legal Intern at the Washington and Lee Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, where he successfully represented low-income taxpayers in disputes with the IRS and Virginia Department of Taxation. He also interned with the Public Defender’s Office in Martin County, Florida, conducting legal research and engaging with clients on a range of criminal defense matters. Before his legal career, Joseph served as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army, 10th Mountain Division, from 2015 to 2020, with roles including Rifle Platoon Leader and Heavy Weapons Platoon Leader. He is Ranger and Airborne qualified, and was forward deployed to Iraq.
Joseph was born and raised in Toms River, New Jersey. He graduated with distinction from the Virginia Military Institute in 2015, earning a B.A. in Modern Languages and Cultures (Arabic) and International Studies and Political Science, with a minor in Economics. His international experiences include studying abroad at the University of Jordan and the Arabic Language Institute in Fez, Morocco. Conversant in Arabic and German, Joseph brings a global perspective to his practice.
Admitted to the Florida Bar, Joseph is dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of estate planning with clarity and care. Outside the office, he enjoys weightlifting, crafting miniature models, and snorkeling. Joseph resides in Sarasota with his wife, daughter, and another child on the way, and he is passionate about building strong, lasting relationships with his clients and community.
